Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As a Theatre/Recovery Orderly - Admissions/Postoperative Anaesthetic Recovery Unit, your responsibilities will include:
* Patient assistance and transfers including the use of Wheelchairs, lifting machines and bed movers
* Preoperative preparation of the patient as per surgical VMO requirements
* General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management
* Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily available
* Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
* Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
* Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
* Work as an active team member to support all work tasks
* Authority to Work in Australia
* Cert 4 Assistant in Nursing/patient services or working towards
* Experience as an Orderly in a hospital environment preferred
* Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
* Working with Children check
* Commitment to service excellence
* Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* High level attention to detail
