This role is being advertised as a full time position for 40 hours a week, however we are flexible with this and welcome applicants who would be able to work within the hours of 9:30am - 2:30pm on a flexible contract.
We are currently looking for a skilled chef to join our team.
Prepare and cook food for service users and staff, following all guidelines for food hygiene and health and safety, legally and with local policies.
- Control of ALL food that leaves the kitchen.
- Exceptionally good housekeeping.
- Take full responsibility for the cleaning of the kitchen.
- The preparation and cooking of all food
- Monitoring and guiding staff while working in the kitchen.
- Help with input of new menus. Working closely with the line manager on all food related issues.
- To ensure food preparation areas are clean and tidy.
- To ensure stock rotation and stock take are completed.
- Daily and weekly ordering of all food related stock.
- To ensure that all Salutem policies and procedures are followed.
- Adhere to health and safety policy and procedures, identify hazards and undertake appropriate risk assessments as required
