We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented Kit Production Operative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast paced production or manufacturing environment and takes pride in delivering high quality products.
As a Kit Production Operative, you will be responsible for assembling, packing, and preparing self testing medical equipment kits to a high standard, ensuring all products are completed accurately and efficiently in line with company procedures and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assemble and pack self-testing medical equipment kits
2. Follow detailed instructions and strict quality control procedures
3. Ensure all kit components are correctly packed and labelled
4. Carry out quality checks to maintain required production standards
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
6. Operate within health & safety guidelines and wear PPE as required
7. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines
8. Report any faults, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors promptly
9. Support general warehouse and production duties when required
Skills & Requirements
10. Educated to A-Level standard or degree level
11. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
12. Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately
13. Good communication skills, both verbal and written
14. Ability to work effectively within a team environment
15. Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, cleanroom, or production environments is advantageous but not essential
16. Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy
Physical Requirements
17. Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
18. Good manual dexterity for handling small components and materials
19. Ability to lift and move materials when required
