We are working on behalf of a leading national housebuilder who is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, covering housing developments across Cardiff and the wider South Wales region.
This is a key role within the business, offering autonomy, long-term security, and the opportunity to work on high-quality residential schemes.
The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for multiple housing developments, ensuring cost control and value maximisation from pre-construction through to final account.
Key responsibilities include:

Full commercial management of residential housing developments
*
Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
*
Procurement and management of subcontractors
*
Valuation of works, variations, and final accounts
*
Working closely with site teams and senior management
*
Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and commercial targets
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within residential housing development
*
Housebuilder experience is essential
*
Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and cost control
*
Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge
*
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*
Full UK driving licence
