The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Reception Manager to lead our front office team. As the face of the hotel, you will play a pivotal role in creating a seamless and welcoming guest journey, ensuring every arrival and departure reflects our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, train, and inspire the reception team to deliver outstanding guest service
* Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring efficiency and professionalism
* Manage guest check-in/check-out processes and handle VIP arrivals
* Resolve guest queries and complaints promptly and effectively
* Maintain strong communication with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments
* Monitor room availability, occupancy, and revenue opportunities
* Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of front office staff
About You
* Proven experience in a front office or reception management role within hospitality
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Experience with hotel management systems (PMS) preferred
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
