Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cambridge for a Research Nurse at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Research Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and supporting clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to relevant protocols and guidelines. Responsibilities include managing participant recruitment, obtaining informed consent, collecting and documenting clinical data, ensuring compliance with research governance and ethical frameworks, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve research objectives.
Qualifications
* Experience in Nursing and/or clinical research/Research (with or without research experience)
* Strong knowledge of Nursing UK clinical and/or Research practices
* Familiarity with clinical trials
* Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage patient care and study coordination
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
* Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and current registration with a relevant nursing body (NMC)
* Previous experience or interest in clinical research is highly preferred
