Primary Teacher – Upper KS1
Location: Gateshead
Start Date: April 2026
Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Pay: £150–£170 per day (paid weekly)
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Gateshead who are seeking a fully qualified teacher to join their team after the Easter holidays.
This is a full-time role teaching Upper Key Stage 1, running through to the end of the academic year.
The Role:
* Full class teacher responsibility within Upper KS1
* Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Working collaboratively with staff and leadership
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Upper KS1
* Strong classroom management skills
* Passionate, reliable and committed to pupil progress
