Location: Breaston, Derbyshire
Salary: £24, per annum
Hours: hour shift (1 hour unpaid break)
7:45am until 20:15pm (Days)
20:15pm until 07:45am (Nights)
Shifts we can offer:
23hpw- 2 days a week including 2 weekends a month every other weekend (shift pattern)
3 days a week including 2 weekends a month every other weekend (shift pattern)
4 days a week including 2 weekends a month every other weekend (shift pattern)
On all shifts, you will be expected to work 2 weekend per months and be flexible to working day and night shifts
We can accommodate various shift patterns to suit your schedule ranging from part time hours to full time hours.
A full enhanced DBS is required for this role. If you do not currently have one, we are able to complete the application on your behalf*
Main duties of the job
As a healthcare assistant you will be working directly with our patients, being apart of their support network and patient care treatment. You will be expected to understand our patients needs as stated in their care plan and prioritise their well being at all times.
As a healthcare assistant you can expected to;
1. Implement care plan requirements
2. Assisting in feeds,
3. Partaking in various activities with our patients,
4. Attend to personal care needs,
5. Be involved in supervisions,
6. Always be vigilant and aware of the patients safety at all times,
7. Report any incidents and be aware of safeguarding,
8. Make our patients feel safe and respected,
9. And most importantly being someone they can trust.
10. Working with children and young people with eating disorders can be exceptionally challenging. You will need to be emotionally resilient at times, however you will be working as part of team who will support you as well.
What are we looking for?
11. Recently graduated with a degree in Psychology/Sociology/ Health care or of a similar discipline.
12. Individuals that are highly experienced in working in a health care setting.
13. Experience working with young children or within a CAMHS setting
14. Have knowledge or an understanding of eating disorders and patient treatment
