An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Claims Administrator to join our team, working remotely for 6 months with possibility of extension.
Working within a busy centralised insurance function, provide support and advice to facilitate the efficient and cost-effective conclusion of all aspects of Insurance function.
37.5 hours of work
Salary £25,000 per annum.
Key responsibilities:
1. Review new Webrisk fleet motor accident reports and personal injury notifications and claims on a daily basis and action as necessary
2. Respond to a wide variety of enquiries from insurers, claims handlers, solicitors, recovery agents, third parties, and group colleagues
3. Assist in Annual insurance renewal
4. Source and supply accurate data to manage the efficient recovery of uninsured losses and driver negligence agreement claims
5. Provide a range of general administration duties to facilitate efficient running of the department including:
6. Update the National Motor Insurance Database to ensure accurate records are maintained of group insured vehicles
7. Import insurance company data uploads into Webrisk
8. Provide risk management information to site locations and other interested parties.
9. Process and raise time critical invoices.
10. Manage and update business critical reports.
The person will:
11. be a good communicator both verbally and in writing with good numeracy, literacy and telephone skills
12. have experience of using Microsoft Office and be proficient with Excel and Word
13. have the ability and temperament to deal with difficult and sometimes verbally aggressive external complainants
14. be efficient and able to manage and prioritise own workload effectively
15. be willing to adapt to the changing needs of the company and the department
16. ideally have experience of working in a claims handling and/or customer complaint environment but this is not essential. Full on the job training will be provided
