Role Overview
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will supervise electricians and subcontractors on-site to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of all electrical works. You will monitor equipment installation progress against programme, maintain compliance with technical and HSE requirements, and coordinate with other disciplines and project management teams to resolve on-site issues. You will also support testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful project handover.
Responsibilities
* Supervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors to ensure safe and effective execution of works.
* Monitor equipment installation progress against programme, providing regular updates to the Project Manager.
* Ensure compliance with project quality standards, technical specifications, and HSE requirements.
* Coordinate with other disciplines and management to resolve on-site issues.
* Oversee and support testing and commissioning activities prior to handover.
* Manage permit-to-work systems and ensure adherence to site safety standards.
* Contribute to progress reporting and project documentation.
Qualifications
* Previous supervisory experience on large industrial or heavy engineering projects.
* Strong understanding of site safety practices, HSE standards, and permit-to-work systems.
* Proven ability to coordinate teams and subcontractors in a dynamic site environment.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
