ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care and to contribute fully to the care team, ensuring continuity of services to residents.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
* Assist residents in all aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, falls, signs of infection) and promptly raise any identified risks.
* Act courteously toward residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
* Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
* DBS Disclosure check – the cost will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
* This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975; a submission will be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) to check for any previous convictions.
