Working on the design and build of specialist vehicles for both national and international clients. Taking the initial brief from the customer and working through the initial design all the way through to the approval stage. • Liaising with Sales/project team and clients to take project brief • Designing concept models from brief, ready for customer sign off • Carrying out full 3D design of concept to the point of releasing fabrication drawings • CNC programming the full 3D design using Swood (Integrated with Solidworks) • Draughting full manufacturing drawings ready for release to the workshop teams • Creating Bill of Materials, audit trails and releases of design/product changes • Liaising with internal manufacturing team to resolve any production issues
