Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Head of Operations you will:
* Assisting with planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements. Learning around reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and standard operating procedures
* Performing reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner
* Carrying out site surveys requests as required
* Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner
* Keeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, High Voltage and safety documents that are suitable for audit
* Ensuring that work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivity
* Complying with the company Health & Safety Policy
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications or equivalent
* C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection
* 17th/18th (preferably) edition wiring regulations
* Ideally at least a year's experience from within in a maintenance work in either an industrial, commercial or even domestic capacity
* Full UK licence
Personal skills
The Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is:
* Keen to get into renewables A real passion for renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery storage etc
* Happy to travel around to sites in a field-based role

* Salary of between £30,000 to £36,000 Depending on experience
* Overtime and on call weekends on rota.
