KS2 Teacher – Maternity Cover – September Start
Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? A welcoming primary school is seeking an experienced Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2025 to April 2026, with the possibility of extension.
This role requires a teacher with strong behaviour management skills who can create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate must be empathetic and patient, especially as some pupils require additional emotional support. The school is looking for someone available to start as soon as possible for a handover period before the maternity leave begins. You will have dedicated PPA time with your year group partner and will be expected to attend staff meetings.
Job Role:
1. Teaching a KS2 class, ensuring all pupils make progress.
2. Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
3. Managing behaviour effectively with a nurturing approach.
4. Collaborating with your year group partner during PPA time.
5. Attending staff meetings and contributing to the school community.
