Flexible Hours | £25–£30 per hour | Make a Lasting Impact
Are you looking for a meaningful role where your teaching experience can help transform young lives—without the constraints of a classroom?
We are currently recruiting tutors to support pupils in Bury (BL9) who are receiving education outside of a mainstream school setting. This might be due to medical needs, anxiety, exclusion, or other personal circumstances. These young people need dedicated educators who can help them stay on track with their learning and build their confidence, one lesson at a time.
What the Role Involves:
* 1:1 tuition in core subjects such as Maths, English or Science
* Sessions delivered in the pupil’s home or local public spaces like libraries
* Flexible working hours between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday
* Working with learners of varied ages and abilities, often with additional needs (SEN/SEMH)
Each student’s journey is unique, and your role will be to provide structure, encouragement and personalised learning that helps them progress both academically and emotionally.
We’re Looking For:
* A qualified teacher, experienced tutor or learning support professional
* Strong subject knowledge and a calm, patient approach
* Confidence in managing behaviour and delivering engaging lessons
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
* Experience with SEN or vulnerable learners is highly valued
Whether you’ve recently left the classroom or are simply looking for more flexible, pupil-focused work, this role allows you to continue making a real difference—without the administrative overload.
What You’ll Get in Return:
* £25–£30 per hour, paid weekly
* The freedom to choose your own schedule
* A chance to focus on individual progress, not class-wide outcomes
* Ongoing CPD and support from our experienced team
* Local assignments in and around Bury (BL9)—minimising travel
