Job Title: Practice Education Facilitator

We are seeking an innovative registered nurse or midwife with highly effective interpersonal skills to join the Professional and Practice Development Teams as a Practice Education Facilitator. The ideal candidate will have a well-developed skill set, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels and to use their own initiative.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with others to support and enhance learning in healthcare environments across NHS Tayside by:
* Partnering with practice teams to develop and maintain high-quality practice learning environments through the development of Practice Supervisors and Assessors roles.
* Identifying and supporting the development of new Practice Learning Environments to effectively support nursing and midwifery students.
* Leading the delivery of programmes such as Flying Start and contributing to initiatives like Restorative Clinical Supervision and other educational activities that meet quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.
* Fostering a culture that supports and embeds feedback and learning about the Practice Learning Environment to ensure continuous improvement.
This evolving role responds to local and national needs, offering scope to demonstrate and implement new approaches to building high-quality teams and improving service delivery aligned with person-centred values. During the interview, candidates will be expected to share their commitment to continuing professional development.
As part of the Practice and Professional Development team, you will work closely with the Care Home Education Facilitator, Practice Education Facilitators, and Practice Development team members. You should have significant experience supporting and assessing learning in healthcare settings and be able to develop effective relationships with practice assessors/supervisors, service leaders, and Higher Education Institutes to ensure support across Tayside. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential. The role requires travel across all parts of Tayside.
