Moxie People are proud to be supporting a values-led housing association in Cardiff as they look to appoint a Procurement Officer on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave within their ICT & Procurement team.

The Role
Working closely with the Head of ICT & Procurement, you'll support and lead procurement activity across goods, works and services.
You'll manage procurement exercises from initial planning through to contract award, while supporting supplier relationships, contract management, compliance, KPI monitoring and procurement reporting.
The role also involves working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, helping teams navigate procurement processes confidently and compliantly.
Key areas of the role include:
* End-to-end procurement exercises
* Tendering and procurement compliance
* Supplier and contract management
* Maintaining contracts and supplier registers
* KPI monitoring and reporting
* Supporting social value and community benefit initiatives
* Process improvement and procurement best practice
What We're Looking For
We're open to people from a range of sectors and backgrounds.
You may already be working as a:
* Procurement Officer
* Procurement Specialist
* Contracts Officer
* Commercial Officer
* Procurement Manager
* Procurement Business Partner
Experience within housing, local authority, NHS, education, utilities or wider regulated/public sector environments would all be considered.
We'd particularly love to hear from people who have:
* Experience running tenders or procurement exercises
* Understanding of Procurement Act 2023 / public procurement legislation
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with supplier or contract management
* A collaborative and organised approach
CIPS qualification would be welcomed, but isn't essential.
