Overview
Evoke Staffing are currently recruiting for multiple experienced Class 2 Drivers for our client in the Swindon area. The ideal candidates will be reliable, have a good work ethic and a proven track record with in the HGV distribution industry. This is a great opportunity for ongoing work and for the right drivers can become temp to perm.

This client is a well established brand in the distribution industry. They deliver to a number of clients around the South and South West which will include depot and store deliveries. Previous multi drop experience will be essential for this role and some aspects of physical fitness due to the demands of the role.
Shift Patterns
* General shifts will be 5 days, Mon-Fri
* Shift start times will be between 06:00am - 08:00am
* Opportunity of overtime
* Average day will be 9-10 hours
Experience
* Proven 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle.
* no more than 6 points with no major endorsements
* Good knowledge using Tacho card
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for record keeping.
* Good Geographic knowledge of South Wales/West area.
* Must have good communication of the English Language.
Responsibilities
* Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
* Execute multi-drop deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service and communication with clients.
* Manage and organize delivery schedules to optimize routes and minimize delays.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
* Handle flatbed loads with care, ensuring secure transport of goods.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
Skills
* Good communication skills as you will interacting with clients and team members.
* Have a good work attitude, flexible ,reliable, good customer service skills and good time keeping.
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
* Able to use initiative as will be at times needed to make decision on routes/plans of the day
Essential skills:
- Multi Drop – preferably with pallets
- Tail Lift
- Customer Facing
- Using an App
- Curtain side
- Communication understanding and speaking the English Language.

- Pay: £14.22 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 12 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
Experience:
* Multi-drop driving: 1 year (required)
* Class 2 driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (required)
* CPC and Tacho Card (required)
