Scope of Position:
Ensure the accurate and timely movement of freight and information of exports out of EU and UK worldwide, while providing exceptional customer service and ownership of processes.
Support both Forwarder and Client Shipping Team in shipping from Europe, managing bookings and creating export documentation.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. First contact for key customers with responsibility to build strong relationships and resolve issues in a timely manner
2. Liaise with Maersk control tower for operational tasks and issues
3. Tracking and tracing shipments for customers
4. Maintain accurate customer information for shipment processing
5. Understand team process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
6. Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed as per work instructions
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with the customer, load sites but also our branches involved in organising shipments
