Due to expansion of the HR & Volunteering Team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time HR Assistant. You will join a supportive team that provides exceptional and professional HR & Volunteering services across the Hospice and support with the administration of our recruitment processes for both employed staff and volunteers. The HR Assistant will provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the HR Department enabling the efficient and effective recruitment and selection of job vacancies and volunteer opportunities across St Andrew’s Hospice.
The main duties include:
1. Provide a comprehensive administrative support service for the HR Team.
2. First point of contact and response, distribution and escalation of queries received via the recruitment mailbox.
3. Collating and distributing vacancy schedules, supporting documents and other recruitment data when required.
4. Undertake pre-employment checks, including Disclosure Scotland checks, as required.
5. Maintain departmental files, paper and computer records within the HR Department.
