Driver Hire is working with a trusted logistics provider based in Doncaster, specialising in refrigerated and temperature-controlled transport.
About the role:
We are currently seeking experienced and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for an ongoing position based in Doncaster. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK, working with well-maintained vehicles and supported by a friendly operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate Class 1 vehicles, ensuring compliance with all road traffic laws and regulations.
2. Complete deliveries and collections on time while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
3. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
4. Maintain accurate paperwork and digital logs.
5. Work flexibly to meet customer requirements (days/nights available)
What we are looking for:
6. Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
7. Current CPC
8. Tacho Card
9. Previous Class 1 driving experience
10. Professional attitude and strong commitment to safety and service
