About the Role
We are seeking to hire an Automation Managed Service Lead to join the team in Impact Engineering. This role is based on a key customer site in Northern Ireland. The role involves leading and managing a team of cross-functional engineers on the customer site.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of cross-functional engineers on a customer site.
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Report on key metrics to the Impact Engineering Leadership team.
* Serve as Project Manager for all Impact projects on site, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
* Act as the primary point of contact for the client, managing day-to-day relationships and addressing service-related concerns.
* Implement and maintain effective monitoring, reporting, and escalation processes.
* Manage resource allocation to ensure service delivery is maintained without disruption.
* Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
* Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and compliance in service delivery.
Qualifications
* 15+ years of experience in life sciences with increasing levels of responsibility.
* Technical degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
* Postgraduate qualifications in project management are highly desirable.
Required Skills
* Excellent ability to work with people and lead teams.
* Energy, passion, and vision to drive growth strategy.
* Technical background in DeltaV DCS and Siemens/Rockwell PLCs is a strong advantage.
