They are now looking for a Building Surveyor to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will lead and deliver construction, maintenance, and refurbishment projects across our client’s diverse property portfolio.
You will oversee planned and reactive works from initial assessment through to completion, providing professional guidance to support the evolving vision for the estate and ensuring buildings are safe, well-maintained, and fit for long-term use.
Managing full project lifecycles, you will prepare specifications and drawings, oversee statutory applications, administer contracts, and co-ordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
With responsibility for asset and condition surveys, you will advise on property suitability, compliance, sustainability, and long-term capital planning, contributing to the development of an asset management strategy.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage tendering and procurement
- Oversee peril insurance repair works
- Administer listed building applications
- Negotiate licences, leases, and undertake title deed investigations
- Support risk management, statutory compliance, and quality assurance
About You
To be considered as a Building Surveyor, you will need:
- To be a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS, MCIOB, CABE) or equivalent, with substantial project management experience
- At least five years’ post-qualification experience
- Experience managing projects up to £1m, including listed buildings
- Experience appointing and managing professional advisers and consultants
- The ability to prepare specifications, drawings, and statutory applications
- Knowledge of building regulations, planning legislation, and health & safety
