SEN Outreach Tutor - Buckinghamshire

Are you passionate about helping young learners rediscover the joy of education? Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Outreach Tutor to deliver personalised, 1:1 learning experiences for pupils who are currently out of school in Buckinghamshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced primary-level teacher who wants to step away from the traditional classroom and create meaningful, engaging lessons that truly make an impact.
About the Role
As an Outreach Tutor, you'll design and deliver bespoke lessons that bridge gaps in learning, boost confidence, and re-engage pupils in their education. Many of these learners have been out of school for some time, so your creativity and empathy will be key to helping them rebuild structure and motivation.
You'll work closely with Prospero Teaching to track progress and ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.
What We Offer
Location: Various locations across Buckinghamshire
Hours: 10-15 hours per week (flexible sessions, 1-3 hours each)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: From £25 per hour
Contract: Temporary, tailored to each student's needs
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
Experience teaching at primary level (SEN experience highly desirable)
Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
A creative, patient, and adaptable approach to learning
Requirements
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
Two recent child-related references
