Level 3 Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the Pastoral Team at a client secondary school in Stretford. Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring students' understanding and engagement.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
* Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
* Support students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) in their academic and social development.
* Collaborate with other teaching assistants, teachers, and school staff to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Experience working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/guardians.
* Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school environment.
