You will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the department, supported by the Matron and charge nurses, where you can develop your own clinical and management skills as you further your career.
Applicants will need to demonstrate a dynamic, hardworking, and passionate approach to delivering high quality patient care. The ability to administer IV drugs is essential. Venipuncture / Cannulation, and ILS are desirable but not essential.

Main duties of the job
8. Carry out planned care for a group of patients without direct supervision.
9. Ensure the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence based.
10. Individualised patient care.
11. Assist and advise staff, both registered and unregistered in the delivery of patient care.
12. Organise one’s own work load ensuring most effective use of time.
13. Assist in the orientation of new staff and students.
14. Ensure that nursing practices comply with Trust policies and procedures.
15. Assess the needs of patients, relatives and carers and provide them with information as requested.
16. Assist in the teaching and development of nursing assistants and students helping them to achieve their learning outcomes.

Essential criteria
17. •Full valid UK NMC Adult registration
18. •Oral and IV Medication administration
19. •Venepuncture and cannulation certificate and finalised competencies

Skills

24. •Good level of English language demonstrated through effective written and verbal communication skills
