The Company:
Due to continued growth and expansion, our prestigious client is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will have previous experience working within a similar role or environment and will be as part of a team as well as individually to provide onsite Engineering support. Job Responsibilities:
The main function and responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer is to provide Maintenance support to the onsite Production Operation, contributing towards the smooth operation onsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out both planned maintenance onsite, as well as fault finding and diagnosing any potential issues with Production Machinery onsite.
1. To service, maintain and repair Production Machinery onsite to include conveyor and feed system, pallet stacking machinery, pumps and motors etc.
2. Evaluating potential Machine Faults or issues and providing feedback to the Management Team.
3. Fault Finding potential issues with Production Machinery.
4. Completing PPM on Machinery onsite, managing PPM schedules and booking in planning maintenance works with the Management Team onsite.
5. Reading and interpreting Technical Drawings for Machinery.
6. Pre-Shift Production Checks on Machinery to ensure they are fully oiled and greased prior to Production.
7. Completing paperwork relating to any PPM or repairs completed on Production Machinery.
8. Some “on-call” duties maybe required out of hours.
Technical Knowledge / Qualifications:
9. Minimum 3 – 5 years previous experience working within a similar role or environment is essential.
10. City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Or Equivalent) is essential.
11. Must be happy to work individual as well as with other Engineers onsite.
12. Must be able to read and interpret Technical Drawings / Schematics.
13. Must be a strong communicator who can build relationships with stakeholders within the business.
14. Strong organisational skills to plan and schedule own workload and planned maintenance onsite.
15. Drives and own Transport (Due to location)
