Latymer School - Trips and Finance Officer
The Latymer School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Trips and Finance Officer to coordinate the administration and financial management of all school trips within the UK and overseas, including residential and day trips. The role ensures full compliance with policies, cost-effectiveness, and smooth trip delivery. Additionally, the post holder will support the wider finance function by contributing to the accurate processing, monitoring, and reconciliation of financial transactions across the school.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in both operational and financial aspects of the school, working as part of a supportive and professional Finance Team that is integral to the school's daily operations and long-term planning. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, and committed to maintaining excellent standards of financial and administrative practice within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the planning, administration, and financial management of all school trips (UK and overseas).
2. Ensure trips comply with school policies, health and safety standards, and budget requirements.
3. Liaise with staff, parents, and external providers to organise transport, accommodation, and permissions.
4. Manage trip payments and maintain accurate financial records.
5. Support the wider Finance Team with processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and general financial administration.

Share, Weeks per annum: Term Time + 2 weeks (41 weeks) aligned with key working days during school holidays to support financial activity.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break daily.
