Responsibilities
* Support the Senior Criminal Investigator and the Criminal Enforcement Team in investigating fraudulent use of parking permits, blue badges, season tickets and other parking related offences.
* Examine parking systems and records, triage intelligence reports, maintain case files and assist with evidence gathering under relevant legislation.
* Support on‑street investigation and enforcement operations, engage with offenders and the public, take witness statements, and contribute to formal interviews conducted under PACE.
* Prepare evidence for court, assist with vehicle removals and participate in planned operations that may take place outside normal working hours.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in enforcement or a similar environment.
* Strong administrative and IT skills, confident using databases and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to review and process data, produce clear written reports, handle incoming enquiries and communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including those displaying challenging behaviour.
* Flexibility to work outdoors for long periods in all weather conditions and support operations during early mornings, evenings and weekends.
* Full driving licence and ability to converse clearly in English.
* Willingness to undertake any required training.
* Right to work in the United Kingdom.
