Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mobile Sonographer specialising in pregnancy and IVF care, based in Greenford. The Mobile Sonographer will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including obstetric ultrasounds, IVF follicle tracking, and endometrial lining assessments. The role also involves genetic screening support such as Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) and phlebotomy for Early Gender DNA tests. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering compassionate care in patients' homes. Collaboration with healthcare professionals to make direct referrals when necessary will also be an essential part of this role.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum of three years of post-qualification experience specifically as a Pregnancy Sonographer.
* Technical Proficiency: Must be familiar and confident with advanced portable ultrasound systems, specifically the Mindray MX7 or simmilar.
* Clinical Skills: Proficiency in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound is essential.
* NIPT Experience (Desirable): Previous experience or certification in Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) is highly advantageous.
* Mobility: A valid UK Driving Licence is required, as this is a fully mobile role involving travel to patient homes.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work evening shifts (up to 10 PM) and weekends to support our commitment to accessible care.
* Attributes: Exceptional communication skills and a meticulous approach to clinical record-keeping.
