Compliance & Facilities Manager in Huddersfield Do you have a passion for health and safety, environmental management, and ensuring smooth operations? If so, my client would love to hear from you I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance & Facilities Manager to join my clients team in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager and wider teams by: Leading health and safety management on site, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment. Implementing and maintaining effective environmental management systems. Overseeing the management of compliance systems, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and JOSCAR. Providing guidance and support to the wider team on compliance and health and safety matters. Managing supplier conformance, risk assessments, and corrective actions. Demonstrating flexibility for occasional travel. We are looking for a candidate with: Proven experience in health and safety management, with IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications preferred. Experience in environmental management. Expertise in quality assurance and implementing/maintaining ISO management systems. The ability to work effectively with industry-specific systems like JOSCAR. Knowledge of legal compliance, including packaging waste regulations and international sanctions. Understanding of site maintenance and compliance regulations (LOLER, SEMA, PAT, Legionella control). Budgeting and training management skills. The ability to collaborate effectively across various departments, including sales, purchasing, and distribution. Experience in supplier and contractor monitoring, with a strong understanding of supply chain management. Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management principles.
