✅ The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Develop students' skills accross the curriculum
Inspire a love for literature, language and learning
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND needs
Monitor progress, provide feedback and support academic development
Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff
✅ Who This Role Suits:
Qualified English Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
ECTs/NQTs looking for their first teaching role
Experienced educators seeking a new challenge/area
Individuals with a passion for literature, language, and student success
✅ What We’re Looking For:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or pending QTS
Strong subject knowledge of English Language & Literature
Proven ability to motivate and engage students
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to inclusive education and continuous improvement
Enhanced Child-Only DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
