Re-Culture are partnered with a nationally recognised Law firm to recruit an IT Asset Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of hardware and software asset governance within a highly regulated, compliance-led environment.
About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Strategic Planning & Governance, you will be responsible for managing IT assets across their full lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and optimisation across hardware, software, and configuration items.
This is a governance-focused role with real ownership and visibility across the business.
Key responsibilities
* Managing and maintaining the IT Asset Register (hardware & software)
* Overseeing asset lifecycle processes (onboarding, transfers, decommissioning, warranty tracking)
* Ensuring software licensing compliance and conducting true-ups
* Governing CMDB and Configuration Management processes
* Supporting ISO, GDPR and internal audit requirements
* Working closely with procurement on licence renewals and optimisation
* Driving continuous improvement aligned to ITIL best practice
About You
We’re looking for candidates with strong experience in IT Asset Management across both hardware and software and someone keen to have full autonomy to take the role in their direction.
You will:
* Have experience managing asset registers and lifecycle processes
* Understand software licensing and compliance requirements
* Have exposure to CMDB / SACM governance
* Be familiar with ITIL (Change & Configuration Management)
* Have strong attention to detail and a governance mindset
* Be confident engaging with stakeholders across IT and the wider business
* Salary up to £50,000 DOE
* 28 days Holiday
