The Role
We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our energetic kitchen team. As Sous Chef, you'll be the right-hand to the Head Chef, helping lead the brigade and ensuring every dish leaves the kitchen to the highest standard. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, love Spanish food, and have a natural ability to motivate and develop others.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
* Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes.
* Ensure all food is prepared and presented to Tapas Revolution's standards.
* Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction.
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance at all times.
* Step up and take charge of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
* Help create a positive, collaborative, and fun kitchen culture.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a busy, fresh-food kitchen.
* A real passion for Spanish cuisine and culture.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to thrive under pressure while keeping standards high.
* Organised, reliable, and hands-on with a can-do attitude.
* Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations.
