We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead one of our flagship projects. The development of a state-of-the-art tyre recycling plant at Sunderland Port, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and sustainable innovations.

About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality civil engineering projects on time and within budget while upholding the Company’s commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you’ll lead site operations, manage resources, and oversee the project lifecycle from planning to completion.
What You’ll Do
* Leadership: Supervise and manage site staff, subcontractors, and other resources effectively.
* Planning & Organisation: Develop project programmes and ensure progress aligns with contractual requirements.
* Safety & Quality: Uphold the Company’s SHEQ standards and maintain accurate records.
* Cost Management: Prepare cost plans, control budgets, and identify potential claims or contractual entitlements.
* Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering updates and ensuring satisfaction.
* Team Development: Support and mentor colleagues under your supervision, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
* Experience: Proven track record in project management within the civil engineering or construction sector.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with SHEQ systems and contract management processes.
* Skills: Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Initiative: A proactive approach to managing challenges and achieving project goals.
