I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client who has become the leading provider of specialist services in the healthcare sector. Due to continued expansion, they now have an immediate requirement for an electrically biased Service Engineer to join their team in the South East. The successful Service Engineer will travel to customer sites and will carry out the service, maintenance and repair of the electrical/HVAC systems.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Fire Engineer to join a world-leading HVAC Solutions provider. The Service Engineer will be responsible for undertaking planned service, PPM (Pre-Planned Maintenance), remedial work, and general service on Electrical/HVAC systems including ventilation, extract fans, AOV control panels/systems, fire and smoke dampers, and smoke ventilation products.

Our clients are actively seeking a Service Engineer to join their growing team. We are seeking candidates that live in the East London area. The Service Engineer will attend customer sites throughout the UK and conduct the following tasks although not limited to: Planned Preventative Maintenance, Emergency callouts, Upgrades/repairs, Installation and Commissioning works.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Carrying out routine/planned scheduled maintenance work
* Responding to breakdowns and equipment faults
* Diagnosing breakdown problems and carrying out first-time fixes
* Fitting new parts and ensuring equipment is working correctly prior to signing off
* Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
* Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
* Ensure van stock is controlled
* Respond to customer enquiries in a professional manner
* Represent the company as an ambassador at all times
* Provide accurate information on activities undertaken
Required skills & experience
* Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical skills
* Good customer service & communication skills
* Previous service experience would be ideal
* Happy to travel – UK Driving Licence
Hours & Salary
Hours: Days and Nights (weekend work available)
Salary: £27,000 - £9,000 - OTE £5,000+
