Garforth Residential Homes is a small, privately owned group of care homes dedicated to providing compassionate care to our residents. With a focus on creating a harmonious environment, we operate under four core values that guide our interactions with both staff and residents.
Summary
We are looking for housekeeping assistants, covering kitchen, cleaning and laundry duties, dependent on shift time.
There are two care homes side by side, The Hollies (Specialist dementia service) and St Armand's Court, where residents have more general care needs. Staff will be required to work at St Armands Court primarily, but some cross site work may be required. The job will primarily cover evening shifts.
Duties will include:
Laundry - you will be required to undertake all aspects of the laundry service from washing, drying and ironing, as well as on occasion mending clothes.
Cleaning - you will be responsible for keeping all areas of the home clean.
We are currently looking to recruit staff to cover:
* 11 hours per week
* Shift times vary, and are 9am-1.30pm, and flexible over 7 days to meet the needs of the business.
* The salary is from £8.60- £12.21 as we employ applicants who are aged 16 and above.
Full paid training will be provided, and all staff are expected to complete the Care Certificate (online training) within their first 12 weeks of employment.
