Our client is a well established, family run manufacturing business, supplying products across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their on site engineering team. You will be part of a small, close knit maintenance team responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance across a range of production machinery. Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime. Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs. Work as part of a small maintenance team to support production operations. Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards. Assist with continuous improvement activities where required. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements: Mechanical engineering background with a strong hands on approach. Level 2 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Experience carrying out maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment. Good fault finding and problem solving skills. Ability to work effectively within a small team. Flexible and proactive attitude. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Benefits: Salary £40,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
