Weare seeking a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Band 7 Occupational Therapist(OT) to join the Force Generation Rehabilitation team.

Main duties of the job
The successfulcandidates will be responsible for providing specialist Occupational Therapyrehabilitation to service personnel with complex clinical needs within theSpines and Upper Quadrant Service.
The post-holderwill be working autonomously and be accountable for own professional actionsand of those staff who they line manage. To also provide supervision and linemanagement leadership to the Band 6 OTs, as well as full support to the TeamManager and Occupational Therapy Professional Lead Advisor in the provision ofa comprehensive, evidence based and professional Occupational Therapy servicewithin clinical area.

Job responsibilities
Responsibilitieswill include but not be limited to:
* Assessing &treating your own workload of patients/clients, individually and/or in groups,as part of inter- disciplinary team, in a variety of settings.
* Contributing tothe development of specialist service and related policies.
* Supervising/managingstudents and other staff working in own specialist area.
* Line managementresponsibilities for Band 6 OTs.
* Assessingcomplex patients with a range of diagnoses, identifying, developing andimplementing appropriate specialist rehabilitation programmes based on clearclinical reasoning, based on highly specialist knowledge and experience of arange of procedures and conditions underpinned by sound theory andevidence-based practice.
* Prioritising,organising and planning own and teams clinical workload making short termadjustments to plans on a daily basis as required.
