Shop Manager – Farmfoods
Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland
We are looking to recruit a new shop manager for our shop in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. This is a permanent, full‑time position working a variety of shifts – 5 days per week from 7 a.m. through week. Availability must be fully flexible throughout the week, including weekends.
Base Pay
The salary offered is £32,944.97 – £38,355.03 on a 45 hour contract.

Responsibilities
* Lead by example, and get involved in the day‑to‑day tasks of running a busy shop
* Motivate and inspire the team to deliver an efficient shop and excellent customer service
* Recruit, induct and develop the team through coaching, mentoring and feedback, building a talent pipeline for the business
* Ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop
* Control key shop costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll, to meet KPIs and report to the area manager
* Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation
Qualifications
* A friendly, positive and hardworking approach to work
* Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate people in a busy environment
* Good interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with teams and customersli>
* Trustworthy and reliable – a critical part of a small team
* Experience as a manager or assistant manager
* A full driving licence is desirable (but not mandatory if the other criteria are met)
