The Mission
As a Junior Paralegal, your mission is to serve as a key point of contact and support for construction professionals who build America. You will facilitate the successful use of services by ensuring clients receive accurate and timely assistance with their account needs. You will bridge the gap between statutory requirements and client success by ensuring the flawless execution of construction notices and liens. In addition to document preparation and service, you will also act as Brand Ambassador, helping to scale the business. You serve as a primary engine for revenue growth by transforming satisfied clients into vocal advocates and identifying untapped market segments.
This is not a clerical position; it is a high-stakes partnership. We are looking for a polished, high-IQ Junior Paralegal Account Manager who doesnt just manage document processing but also represents with dedication, professionalism, and, above all, HEART.
The Non-Negotiables: Your Technical Arsenal
To thrive in this seat, you must possess a specific suite of technical skills. We are looking for a "Force Multiplier" who is as tech-savvy as they are personable.
* Paralegal Training: Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a paralegal in a law firm or equivalent paralegal certification/credentials.
* Advanced Office Suite Proficiency: Expert-level command of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is mandatory. You should be able to manage a calendar and task list and format sophisticated legal documents with zero errors.
* Digital Organization: High proficiency with the use of document tools to track and process client orders.
* Communication Precision: Exceptional writing and verbal communication. You must be able to talk with clients about the necessity of services.
* Data & Research Agility: Ability to conduct industry-specific research to properly process documents.
* Sharp Memory: You remember the details others miss. You anticipate needs three steps ahead and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
* Extraverted Personality: In this role, you will be regularly speaking to clients, industry colleagues, legislators, and more. Having an empathetic personality, sincere care for those we serve, and the ability to be a positive light for those who are often under extreme stress and duress when they come to us is a must.
* Unyielding Strength/Unwavering Confidence: We are not looking for a robotic “Yes” personality--you must have "backbone." You are not timid and can confidently stand your ground with strong, passionate extraverts. You offer strength and clarity, not just compliance. We want your ideas and opinions.
* Academic Pedigree: You have a minimum of an associate’s degree in Paralegal studies or equivalent.
* Value Alignment: Embody the Team Z core values: Live each day with courage, take pride in your work, and always finish what you start.
* Service Heart: A “willing to do anything” attitude, from Business growth and strategy to essential errands, with no task being “too small”.
Core Responsibilities
* Strategic Gatekeeping: Manage a demanding, high-volume Construction Notice and Lien processing company.
* Rapid Pivoting: Shift gears instantly as priorities shift, maintaining a calm, effective demeanor. You can switch from managing a "Notice to Owner" filing to assisting with and processing a marketing post. We like organization and try to avoid “Rapid Pivoting,” but it occasionally happens.
* Project Leadership: Take full ownership of your tasks from inception to implementation/completion.
