Job Title: Social Worker – Young People Team – Knowsley
Location: Knowsley (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £41,511 – £42,708 per annum (Full time and Part time)
About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is partnering with Knowsley Council to recruit a Social Worker for their YPT Young People Team.
Responsibilities:
You will support children in care aged 14 and above, assisting them in preparing for adulthood and independence. Your tasks include assessing their needs, developing tailored care plans, and coordinating services related to education, health, and emotional well-being. You will create Children Looked After (CLA) Plans, Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans, and transition plans. Working closely with families, carers, and partner agencies, you will ensure consistent support and advocate for the young person's best interests. Your duties also involve conducting regular reviews, safeguarding, and promoting positive outcomes as they transition out of care.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Full UK driving license
* Degree or equivalent in Social Work
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s services
