Elevation Recruitment is delighted to be working with a local Rotherham-based business to support the recruitment of an experienced Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable Clerk during a busy period. This role involves working closely with the existing team and interacting with the wider business to ensure accuracy before invoicing, so strong communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities include:
1. Printing and emailing invoices, credit notes, and statements
2. Cash posting and allocation
3. Reviewing unallocated cash
4. Conducting credit checks, opening, and closing accounts
5. Handling customer invoice or payment queries
6. Supporting the Credit Controller with debt chasing
7. Performing general office admin duties as required
8. Having sales ledger and general accounts experience
9. Possessing good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
10. Exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills
11. Demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational skills
12. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
