About Our Client
Michael Page are working with a well established business who are specialists within their field. They are seeking a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Finance team at what is an exciting time for the company.
Job Description
Duties Include:
3. Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
4. Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
5. Prepare and process supplier payments within agreed terms.
6. Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding items.
7. Assist with month-end closing, accruals, and reporting.
8. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
9. Support and mentor junior AP staff.
10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
11. Previous Purchase Ledger experience - Required
12. Strong understanding of the AP function - Required
13. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Required
14. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
15. Strong organisational and time-management skills - Required
16. High attention to detail and levels of accuracy - Required
