Science Teacher – Secondary School (Ashford) Location: Ashford, Kent Pay: £150 – £250 per day (Dependent on Experience) Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Supply Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential) We are currently working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Ashford who are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality Science education. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum Assess, track, and report on student progress Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Manage classroom behaviour effectively Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider staff team Essential Requirements: Proven Science teaching experience in a secondary school setting QTS preferred, but candidates without QTS will be considered if they have strong experience Strong subject knowledge in at least one Science specialism Excellent classroom management and communication skills What’s on Offer: Competitive daily rate of £150–£250 (DOE) Supportive leadership and department Flexible working options Opportunity for long-term or permanent placement All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
