Assisting with the Company’s bidding processes and liaising with franchisees, the role will demand multi-tasking and an ability to work under pressure to meet tender submission deadlines. You will be responsible for the generation of high quality written tender material for multiple grounds maintenance contracts across varied sectors.

To be successful in this role you will produce compelling, specific, evidenced written material that details the benefits of Countrywide’s proposition in meeting the client’s specific needs and enables Countrywide to win new contracts and retain existing clients.

Key Responsibilities


* Lead and manage the end-to-end writing process for complex FM and property management opportunities.
* Write, edit, and proofread persuasive and technical accurate responses that reflect the company’s tone and client specific messaging.
* Collaborate with operational and the network regional managers to extract relevant information and translate it into clear, compelling written content.
* Develop and maintain a library of model answers, case studies, CVs, and other collateral for reuse.
* Coordinate and participate in storyboarding, win strategy sessions, and solution development.
* Ensure bids are fully compliant with client requirements and deadlines are met.
* Conduct debriefs and post-bid analysis to continuously improve win rates and content quality.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in FM and property management.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge

EXPERIENCE:

Essential

* Proven experience as a Bid Writer or Proposal Manager within FM and/or property management sectors.
* Strong understanding of FM delivery models (hard and soft services), property compliance, and asset management.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to distil GM content into clear, client-focused narratives.
* Strong project management and time management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with bid management tools.

Desirable

* Experience with public sector procurement and frameworks (e.g., Crown Commercial Service, NHS).
* Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, and social value initiatives relevant to the FM/property sector.

Skills / Knowledge

* High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite)
* A high attention to detail with an excellent editing and proofing ability.
* Excellent communicator, written and verbal, with proven bid team involvement.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to deliver content in a demanding environment with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
* A working knowledge of Health and Safety practices advantageous
