Vehicle Technician required in Colchester, Essex.
Our automotive client is a successful Independent Garage based in Colchester. The are actively looking to hire a skilled and experience Vehicle Technician to join their friendly workshop team.
Duties of this Vehicle Technician role will range from vehicle servicing and repairs, diagnostics, clutches, camblets and timing chains, a wide ranging knowledge of vehicle mechanics is important to this role as well as the basics.
The environment there is very welcoming they operate from a modern well looked after site, the workshop itself is clean and tidy and well equipped with the latest technology too.
Details & Benefits of this Vehicle Technician role include:
1. Contracted Hours – 42.5 per week Monday to Friday.
2. Saturday rota worked (1 in 4) 9.00am to 4.00pm – you can either have a day off in lieu back or have this time paid as overtime.
3. Basic salary is up to £40,000 p.a. (depending on qualifications, skill level and experience).
4. Holiday Allowance of 23 days + bank holidays.
5. Company Pension Scheme.
6. Successful Independent Garage.
7. Relaxed and Organised Working Environment.
8. Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
The successful Vehicle Technician will need to be confident in completing the above listed tasks, be NVQ Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Mechanics and able to demonstrate a strong professional track record in the role. You will also have a Full UK Drivers Licence and your own set of tools.
