Specialist Nurse in Substance Misuse Recovery Service (Ref: 226458)
Substantive • Full time 37 hours per week • Band 6 - Salary Range £41,608 - £50,702 per annum • Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,482 per annum • Relocation assistance of up to £8,000 is available
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse within this specialist field to join our dynamic Substance Misuse Recovery Service. We are looking for registered nurses, RMN but both RGN and RNLD will be considered with relevant nursing experience in Substance Misuse ideally in a remote and rural setting and post graduate education.
Responsibilities
* Assist in developing and maintaining a clinical service providing assessment, treatment and support to individuals identified as dependent on substances.
* Provide support to individuals with co-existing mental health and substance issues.
* Assess service users needs; develop, implement and evaluate individually planned care together with other members of the multidisciplinary team and partner agencies.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and experience of multi-agency working.
