About the employer NonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable health-care providers in Cumbria to help them find a Lead Psychologist for a Learning Disability and Autism service which provides care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. They have a network of over 90 services across England and Wales across Mental Health, Neurological, Learning Disabilities & Autism, Children & Education.
Responsibilities of the Lead Psychologist
* You will support across 2 care homes with LD and Autism (one in Kendal, one in Workington)
* You can be full-time or part-time for whichever home is closer
* Carry out individual or group interventions, diagnostic, cognitive assessments
* Facilitate staff reflective practice sessions
* Design and deliver training
Requirements
* Must be a driver and have access to own car
* Must have experience working as Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist
* Must have experience with adults with learning difficulties and autism
