Job Opportunity: Ground Engineering Graduate/Junior Role
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Ground Engineering team in Bolton. This role involves working on diverse projects across sectors such as energy, property development, infrastructure, mining, waste management, and local authorities.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as a Site Engineer or supporting role, supervising ground investigation, ground remediation, and CQA activities on short or long-term projects, with potential for working away from home.
2. Supervise site works, including logging soils and rocks in accordance with UK standards.
3. Conduct site monitoring activities such as groundwater sampling and gas monitoring.
4. Specify and supervise in-situ testing and sampling following UK specifications and standards.
5. Liaise with clients, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors during the site work phase.
6. Assist in preparing Health and Safety and contract documentation, including financial control.
7. Assess, analyze, and report geotechnical and geo-environmental data.
Qualifications:
* BSc in Engineering Geology, Geology, or a related field; MSc or industry experience is advantageous.
* Full and clean UK driving license and own vehicle.
* Knowledge of UK ground investigation techniques, report writing skills, and proficiency in relevant software.
